Grude Recipe

Low-Cost Paste for Wheatpastes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 4 cups of water

  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the flour in the water. Turn on the heat and cook until it reaches a thick, porridge-like consistency. Set aside in a bucket and let it cool. Once cooled, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and mix.

Application:

  • 1 brush (a firm brush found in hardware stores)

  • The Wheatpaste

  • The Paste

How to Apply:

  1. Spread the paste onto the surface until it is smooth. Brush the back of the paper with the paste and begin applying it to the walls starting from the edges to stretch it out thoroughly. Finally, use the brush to smooth out wrinkles and bubbles, ensuring the paper adheres evenly to the wall.
